犁头村位于岭背镇西面，距镇圩约6公里，下辖18个村民小组，由镇到村车程约7分钟。村名的来历：村委会设在犁头街村小组境内，故名。[1]

移民安置[edit]

村里的移民安置分两期进行。一期住户已入住，二期工程临近完成，计划于2015年初开始入住。（以上为2014年的情况。）[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2013年底，村里5942人分住1274户，劳动力有2855人。耕地约5096亩：水田3288亩，旱地1808亩。2014年，全村经济收入约3906万元，村集体收入为1.5万元。[1][2]

蜜柚与沙田柚[edit]

该基地由土地整合而来，面积1000多亩，内有沙田柚500亩、蜜柚250亩。这250亩蜜柚2018年开始种植，2023年是第二个挂果年，预计产量约50万斤，收入约210万元，产品主要销往珠三角地区。[3]
