大册洞村位于岭背镇东面，距镇政府约6公里，下辖29个村民小组，由镇到村车程约25分钟。村名的来历：据传旧时此地有人为盗，被称为“大贼洞”，后人嫌其不雅，取方言谐音改称“大册洞”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2005年4月，经县人民政府批准，大山村委会和寨坳村委会撤销，并入大册洞村委会。[1][3]

移民搬迁[edit]

村里自2012年起推行“两不具备”下山移民搬迁，多数村民已迁入离镇墟约2公里的移民新村。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2013年底，全村558户、2248人，劳动力1849人。耕地约5046亩：旱地4451亩，水田595亩。2014年村集体经济收入2.5万元，村民收入以农业和外出务工为主。[1][2]

道路安全[edit]

村道弯急坡陡，一侧临崖，此前没有防护设施。2023年6月，镇里在急弯路段安装了约300米的安全防护栏，同年8月工程全面完工。村里表示，之后还将摸排其他事故多发路段。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，大册洞村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
