黄牛滩村位于小江镇西北部，离小江圩镇约6千米，下辖9个村民小组。全村耕地共3260亩，水田1660亩，旱地1600亩。[1]

地名由来[edit]

连江的一段河床有沙滩，滩上一块石头的形状像一头黄牛过河，村名由此而来。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2014年底统计，全村共741户、3227人，劳动力1896人。农民年人均收入6812元，村集体收入84.18万元，经济总收入2843.93万元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的建制几经变动：1940年设保，1952年改设乡政府，1958年改为生产大队，1983年又设乡政府，1987年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年定名为黄牛滩村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[2]
