高岗村位于高岗镇中部偏东北，东北面与宝山村、墩下村为邻，南部与新联村接壤[1]。村域总面积约26.11平方千米，辖39个村民小组，人口5853人（博雅地名网，年份未注明）[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地设在高岗圩，村名即源于此[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1951年3月起称高岗乡，1959年5月改为高岗大队，1983年底恢复乡建制，1987年初设高岗村委会。1990年至1995年为高岗管理区，1995年起为村委会；2005年4月，路下村委会并入本村[1]。

水利与矿产[edit]

高岗水库和路下水库是全镇三大水库中的两座，两库合计蓄水约236万立方米[1]。路下自然村的瓷泥和稀土矿储量在全镇居首[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高岗村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予路下村、白石凹村和月坑村[1]。
