白湾村位于石潭镇东北部，离石潭圩约20公里，村域面积约7.8平方千米。村委会设在白湾圩，与白湾社区相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村委会设在白湾圩，故以此为名。[1]

1953年设白湾乡，1958年成为大队；1975年前归石潭公社管辖，此后另设白湾公社，下设白湾大队；1983年复为白湾乡，1986年改设村委会，1989年划为管理区，1998年恢复为村委会。[1]

2003年，白湾镇撤销，本村改归石潭镇管辖；区政府网站称当年9月并入石潭镇。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]
