蒲坑村位于石潭镇北部，离石潭圩约8公里，村域面积约12.8平方千米，是蒲坑茶的产地之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：此地地势偏低、河床偏高，常被洪水淹没，当地人说“蒲来蒲去”，于是叫蒲坑。[1]

1958年为蒲坑大队，1983年改设乡，1986年设村委会，1989年划为管理区，1998年恢复为村委会。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予蒲坑村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2022年10月，蒲坑村被认定为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产品是蒲坑茶，认定机关为广东省农业农村厅；2026年1月，蒲坑村获评第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
