国家林业和草原局在2019年12月公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单中有南星村[1]。广东省乡村振兴局于2022年1月把南星村定为2021年度乡村治理示范村创建单位[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年称大河乡，又改称南星大队；1983年设南星乡，1986年起为村委会，1989年归入管理区，1999年复为村委会。2004年5月石坎镇撤销，本村改属龙颈镇[1]。
