历史沿革[edit]

石东所在的一带，1953年属螺岗乡；1958年划为石坎大队，1983年罗地、横坑、石东三地合成石坎乡。1986年撤乡后，三地分设为三个村委会，石东村委会即其中之一；1989年纳入管理区，1998年恢复村委会。2004年5月石坎镇撤销，本村归龙颈镇[1]。
