岗坳村委会在镇南，离镇政府大约6公里。村里以经济作物种植和名优水产、清远乌鬃鹅养殖为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村中山岗和山坳众多。[1]

岗坳乡始设于1953年，大队于1960年建立，1982年改回乡制，1989年为管理区，1998年改为村委会。[1]

环境[edit]

镇里的漫水河流域水生态环境综合整治一期工程，在岗坳和马安各设一个示范点。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年4月，岗坳村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单；2023年5月，八村获得「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
