西尾村是清新区山塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇上单元一带，距镇政府约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村前原有一口大塘，塘里长满了茜草，茜与西同音，于是得名西尾。[1]

西尾村委会的前身是1953年设立的西尾乡。1958年成为大队，1984年再改为乡，1989年改为管理区，1998年又回到村委会的建制。[1]

2021年12月，西尾村获得广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2023年5月，西一村获得「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
