博雅地名网载村内人口4001人，耕地约2917亩，统计年份未注明。村内耕地多为丘陵地带，多数农田靠抽水排灌。村民收入主要来自废旧金属拆解行业和土地出租。[1]

村辖21个自然村，名称包括西牛南、中间咀、土地咀、塘基、木头塘等。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年，此地为横石乡。到1963年，横石、塘基两个大队合成一个横石大队。1983年又分出塘基乡的建制，1987年转为村委会，1999年重新定名村委会。[1]
