根子村位于阳春市双窖镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间（1573年至1620年）建有柏木根、黄揽根两个自然村[1]。1949年起，根子村归榕木乡管理。1956年成立根子茂坪高级社，1958年另设榕木大队，1964年自榕木大队分出，改称根子大队。1983年设乡政府，1986年为村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年2月5日，阳春市政府另设根子村委会[1]。
