地名由来[edit]

明永乐年间（1403至1424年），一支陈姓族人在一片满是乱石的山岗上立村，村名因而定为石岗村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设石岗乡，1958年称大队；1983年起为乡政府，1986年成村委会，1989年又为管理区。[1]

1999年3月，阳春市人民政府同意组建石岗村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]
