林田村是广东省阳江市阳春市春城街道下辖的村庄，属村庄类城乡分类。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆时（1736年至1795年）建双树村，因村旁两棵大树而得名。[1]

1951年，该村当时隶属蟠龙乡，所在地处两乡之间，四周是山林。村民在山坑里辟田种稻，于是有了林田之名。[1]

其后经大队、乡政府、村委会、管理区等变动，1999年3月4日，阳春市政府同意成立林田村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，林田村名列2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）名册。2019年12月，林田村列为首批国家森林乡村。2026年3月，林田村获省里认定为第三批百千万工程典型村镇。[1]
