古井村位于阳西县新圩镇，城乡分类属村庄（代码220），与旧仓村、塘尾村、河角村等村相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

古井在1949年属阳江县七区，1953年属十七区。1958年12月改归入儒洞人民公社，次年成立古井生产大队。1961年5月划归新墟人民公社，同属儒洞区。1967年成立革命委员会，1980年变为生产大队管委会，1983年开设古井乡，由新墟区管辖。1987年2月起为村委会，1988年阳西建县后隶属新墟镇，1989年建立管理区，1999年村委会重新设立。[2]
