十八村是广东省阳江市阳西县溪头镇下辖的行政村。村名源自清初此地曾有十八条小村庄的旧况。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清顺治六年（1649年），此地有小村庄十八条；后来村委会驻地设在这里，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年属阳江县第十四区那湖乡，1957年归溪头区滑桥乡。1959年建十八村大队，同年改属溪头人民公社，1983年设十八村乡。[3]

1987年2月设村委会，1988年随阳西建县归属溪头镇，1989年改为管理区，1999年再次设立村委会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，十八村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
