上洋村是上洋镇的一个行政村，城乡分类属镇乡结合区。村名与镇名同源：此地原称“上海”，因圩前原为大海，又与别地同名，改称“上洋”。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区；1953年属第十六区，称上洋乡；1954年一度称“红星社”，1956年归上洋区。1958年5月隶上洋乡，同年12月划入儒洞人民公社。[2]

此地1959年改称上洋生产大队，同年10月回归上洋人民公社；1983年设上洋乡，隶上洋区；1986年设村委会，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年改为管理区，1999年村委会复设。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的姚宝光大屋建于民国时期，为第三批阳江市文物保护单位。[4]

据快懂百科，清朝中后期，当地姚姓地主与官宦人家在此建造居宅，形成大屋群，村内府第、厅堂与大宅为数不少。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，上洋村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[1]
