星光村位于阳西县织篢镇，历史上曾属竹江乡与蒲牌乡，2003年10月改属织篢镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

星光村在1949年属阳江县第七区蒲牌乡，1953年属第十三区竹江乡，1956年划入上洋区蒲牌乡，其后一度隶属蒲牌乡。1958年下半年并入大跃进人民公社，年底转归织篢人民公社。1959年村中成立星光生产大队，此后先后隶属织篢区蒲牌人民公社、织篢人民公社与蒲牌人民公社。1967年设星光革命委员会，1980年改为管委会，1983年设星光乡，隶属蒲牌区。1987年改为村委会，属蒲牌乡；1989年设管理区，1993年归蒲牌镇，1999年复设村委会，2003年改属织篢镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，星光村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
