埠头村是广东省阳江市江城区白沙街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。村东边有漠阳江，村名来自江边的埠头。[1][2]

2019年9月，埠头村被列为2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的建设单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村史可溯至南宋末年，当时关姓人家迁来此地建村。[3]

1949年11月设埠头行政村，属白沙乡。1958年11月称埠头管理区，隶东风人民公社；1959年转为埠头生产大队，秋天改归平冈公社，1961年5月划入麻桥公社，1963年初又回到白沙公社。[3]

1983年11月，公社被撤，埠头改为埠头乡，隶白沙区；1987年2月成为白沙镇的一部分。1988年转入阳东区，同时分出一个居委会。1999年村委会恢复，2003年5月28日起归江城区白沙街道。[3]
