山津村位于中洲街道的北端，属城乡结合区。[1]村名由津头朗、麻山、大山三个自然村各取一字合成。[1]据百度百科，村域三面环水，下辖16个自然村，设34个村民小组。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初的1949年，此地设山津行政村，归八区三麻乡。1953年，村属八区塘围乡。[3]1956年起，村先后隶属白沙区、附城区城西乡、超美公社、江城公社和城西公社，1958年一度称山津管理区。[3]1983年改设山津乡，1987年改为村委会，此后又改为管理区；1999年4月复设山津村委会，2003年8月划入城西街道。[3]2006年8月31日，该村改属中洲街道。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，山津村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年创建单位名单。[1]
