东花社区是江城区南恩街道下辖的社区，位于主城区。居委会原驻地靠近东门园和花厅两个自然村，各取一字作名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年11月撤销保甲制、建立区乡后，此地为东花行政村，属一区东南乡。此后数次并乡、调整人民公社，先后归附城区城南乡、附城乡，又归城郊生产大队、江城人民公社、岗列人民公社和附城区对岸人民公社。[2]
1967年8月，设东花生产大队革委会。1983年12月6日，生产大队撤去，代之以东花管理区，改由江城镇六区街道办事处管辖。此后，1987年10月这里设为东花居委会。[2]
1988年阳江建市，7月17日起它隶属江城区城东街道，其后划归南恩街道。[2]
