西濑社区是江城区南恩街道下辖的社区，位于主城区。名称由来：此处原是西门外的一片海边濑地，称西门濑，简称西濑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1970年，漠阳居委会成立，隶属第五街。1984年，漠阳居委会与红卫居委会合并，合并后的机构名为江城镇五区街道办事处。到1987年2月27日，西濑居委会得以设立。[1]

1988年1月，阳江建市分县，五区街道办撤销，改设漠阳街道，社区隶属漠阳街道。1992年8月24日，洲头居委会由它分出。2006年8月31日，区划调整后社区转入南恩街道。[1]
