洋潭村位于东源县涧头镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村，与东坝村、新坝村、乐平村等相邻。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

1958年建设新丰江水库之前，村旁有一处名为洋潭的水潭，村名由此而来。[1]

1958年为洋潭大队，1983年改设洋潭乡，1987年改为洋潭管理区。1999年经县里批准设立洋潭村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与规划[edit]

洋潭村在2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单中，该名单于2019年9月公布。2024年3月，洋潭村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2026年1月，洋潭村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

2025年11月，涧头镇人民政府就洋潭村野生鱼美食街建设项目的规划设计方案发布批前公示。[2]
