乐平村位于东源县涧头镇境内，是镇下辖的行政村，与新坝村、乐源村、东坝村等相邻。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

先祖落居此地时盼望安居乐业、太平无事，村名由此而来。[1]

1958年为乐平大队，1983年改设乐平乡，1987年改为乐平管理区。1999年经县里批准设立乐平村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，乐平村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
