河洞村位于东源县锡场镇境内，属行政村，村委会驻地设在河洞自然村[1]。村子临近新丰江，村名即由此而来[3]。2024年3月，该村获认定为2023年广东省卫生村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为河洞大队，1983年改为河洞乡，1987年为河洞管理区，1999年设立河洞村委会[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村境内的颜检墓位于坪山脑山半腰，百度百科将其归于河洞村范围[4][5]。墓室为长方形券顶砖室，墓主颜检为连平人，官至直隶总督，加兵部尚书衔[4]。该墓为东源县文物保护单位[4]。
