半埔畲族村隶属东源县叶潭镇，是镇下辖的一个行政村，博雅地名网写作「半埔村」。村名的来历是蓝溪河从村中流过，把村落分成两半。[1]

2019年10月，本村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；2026年1月，又获评省级“百千万工程”典型村，属第二批。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年此地归第九区（黄村）管辖，设半埔乡；1957年为半埔小乡，1958年改称半埔大队，1983年设半埔乡，1987年改为半埔管理区。1998年起以村委会的名义运作，1999年东源县政府同意正式设立半埔村委会，此名延续至今。[1]
