柳星村位于柳城镇境内。村中先祖由南湖迁来柳城定居，村名取“星星之火可以燎原”的寓意，希望家族易于发展壮大。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
柳星村在1958年是大队，1983年改设乡，1987年成为管理区，1999年由东源县政府批准成立村委会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，柳星村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
