东源县柳城镇的石侧村，村名源于旧时两侧石壁陡峭、行人须侧身才能通过的地势。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这个村先后经历大队、乡、管理区等称谓：1958年为大队，1983年为乡，1987年为管理区；1998年起称村委会，1999年由东源县政府批准成立。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，石侧村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；在广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中，石侧村于2019年9月列名。[1]
2020年8月，首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单公布，石侧村以茶叶入选。2023年4月，石侧村列入2022年广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。2026年3月，石侧村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
