历史沿革[edit]
1958年，此地称下欧大队；1983年改为下欧乡，1987年改设下欧管理区。1999年，下欧村委会获东源县政府批准设立，此后沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，下欧村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年3月，村子获评2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
名人[edit]
清末民初的革命人物欧阳惠山（1875—1927）是河源县骆湖下欧人，即本村人。[2]
