红花村属东源县骆湖镇，是镇辖的一个行政村。[1]

村名来自村子山上生长的红色石榴花。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以前，这里隶属江坑乡。1958年并入江坑大队，1963年另称红花大队，1983年改设红花乡，1987年又改为红花管理区。[1]

1999年，红花村委会获东源县政府批准设立，此后沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年10月，红花村被收入广东省卫生村名录；同年9月，村子上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2026年1月，红花村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的花树下屋是大坪战斗前线指挥部旧址，建筑年代为清初，为第四批河源市文物保护单位。[2]
