地名由来[edit]
旧时此地有一口井，井水清凉甘甜，故取名玉井。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年设玉井大队，1983年改称玉井乡，1987年成为玉井管理区，1999年县里批准设玉井村委会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，玉井村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」2020年创建单位名单。[1]2021年12月，省爱卫会将「2021年广东省卫生村」称号授予玉井村。[1]
