石江村是和平县林寨镇下辖的行政村，区划代码441624116201，与林寨社区、兴井村、石镇村等相邻。[1] 村名起初写作“石井”，后来才定为今名。[3] 1999年设立村民委员会，沿用至今。[2] 村庄先后获得「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位与「2022年广东省卫生村」的荣誉。[1]

地名由来[edit]

这片地方起初叫“石井”，较早来此定居的有陈、黄、朱、张、廖各姓。随后，廖屋、桥背、车头、四联、松仁与竹新六个自然村聚合成片，形成了今天的石江村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前后，石江的行政村并入石井村，设立石井村公所。1956年成立人民公社，此地设石江分所，下辖石江大队。[2] 1986年至1998年设石江管理区，1999年设立石江村村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，石江村被列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1] 2023年5月，石江村获得「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，授予方为广东省爱卫会。[1]
