下径村是热水镇下辖的行政村，位于浰江河下游一段。[1]

当地河段属“径水”流域，水道窄而水流急，村名由此称下径。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1948年以前，此处为乡公所。1955年和1956年先后成立初级社、高级社；1958年人民公社成立，这里为下径生产大队。1967年设大队革命委员会，1970年撤销后改为生产大队，1987年改设下径大队管理区。1999年设立下径村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

「和平县第一期党训班旧址」在三企人自然村，是一座始建于清代的廖姓房屋。1939年12月，中共和平县委在此开办第一期党员干部训练班，县委书记周宝时负责此事，龙川中心县委书记陈祥到场指导。[2]

方华（罗响）、张觉青等多名党员参加了这期训练。[2]

下径村于2019年12月被列为首批国家森林乡村。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予下径村。[1]
