寨西村是和平县上陵镇的一个行政村，1999年设立村民委员会。[1]

村内的岑岗寨西战斗遗址是一处革命历史遗迹。1948年3月，连和人民义勇大队的副大队长陈实棠带领一支部队在寨西一带活动，9日定南县保安队前来袭击，战斗至下午，击退对方，陈实棠在战斗中牺牲。和平县不可移动文物保护名录于2012年1月收入该遗址。[2]

该村在2024年3月获得2023年广东省卫生村的称号；2025年5月，又获和平县2022年度文明村镇的荣誉。[1]
