翠山村是和平县上陵镇的一个行政村，翠山竹海景区位于村内。[2]
村名的由来，据博雅地名网载，此地原称大水山，后因一位革命烈士在本村成立党小组，改称翠山村，意指山色青翠。[1]
1999年设立村民委员会。[1] 2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予翠山村2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
翠山竹海的核心竹林面积约30平方千米，2024年10月正式开放，景区免费开放，距粤赣高速公路上陵出口约1千米。[2]
