阳江村属三角镇，城乡分类为村庄。村名与邻村白石村相关：七十年代，白石分出了白石、阳江、奋雄三个大队。阳江与奋雄所在的岗地低矮，村中又多欧阳姓人家，遂取名阳江，后来两者又并为一处。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1977年，此地分出奋雄大队与阳江大队；1985年大湖公社把两队并成阳江管理区，1998年撤去管理区，改设阳江村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会认定阳江村为「2022年广东省卫生村」；2021年1月，河源市文明委又把「2020年度河源市文明村」的称号给了该村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

攻打“阳隆和”战斗旧址在阳江村。“阳隆和”在解放战争时期是三角一带势力最强的地主集团，首领欧阳达三在村里建了三栋大宅，后建的一栋为四角楼屋。1947年12月，部队从大湖出发直扑这座楼屋，夜间激战后攻入屋内，此后“阳隆和”被剿灭。[4]

余屋反围剿战斗旧址在阳江村余屋。1948年3月，国民党军队围攻余屋，村中二十余名民兵凭借土炮坚守，直到傍晚弹药耗尽，16人被俘。2011年，县委与县政府立碑予以保护。[5]
