高陂村位于连平县高莞镇。建国前，当地人在高莞河北面用土石筑起一座大土陂，蓄水灌田，地名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初期，此地属高湖乡，辖区从今天的中平村一带，延伸到和平县青州镇的船埠、湖塘两村。[1]

解放后，农户依次经历互助组、初级社、高级社，再到生产合作社。1958年成立高陂大队。[1]

1978年，老高陂大队析为高陂、河西、西南、右坑四个大队。1983年设高陂乡，1988年改为高陂管理区，1999年成为高陂村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，高陂村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
