分水村是陂头镇下辖的行政村，属村庄类城乡分类。村名与分水垇的一丘农田有关：这里的田口两侧水流分向南北，南侧之水入珠江水系，北侧之水入长江水系，故称分水。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1960年以前，分水属三水大队。1961年分出设分水大队，之后数度与三水大队分合；1986年设分水管理区，1998年起为分水村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年3月，本村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
