蕉坪村是广东省河源市连平县内莞镇下辖的行政村，区划代码为441623102209，属村庄类。[1]

地名由来[edit]

蕉坪原属九连镇，九连镇撤销后归内莞镇管辖。当地原称“小水”，因刘、谢、黄三姓人家的居住地有一片大沙坝，长满野生蕉树，村名改为蕉坪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年九连解放，乡保甲制度废止，九连设乡，分为“大水”“小水”两村。1964年九连设人民公社，“小水”改为“蕉坪”大队；1983年11月设蕉坪乡；1987年3月定名蕉坪村；1990年1月设管理区；1999年4月恢复村民委员会，下辖11个自然村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，蕉坪村入选广东省农业农村厅首批公布的「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为茶叶。2019年9月，蕉坪村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
