地名由来[edit]
村里异姓人家较多，但世代和睦相处，村名因此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年起本村归周亨乡，此后于1953年改归塔东乡，1955年又归长石乡。1964年设东友大队，1987年成为村委会，1989年起为管理区，1999年村委会重设。[1]
革命旧址[edit]
「中共赤（岗）龙（母）铁（场）区委旧址」位于本村小东坑下围，始建于清代，坐北朝南，三进四横，中间围着一圈房屋，建筑面积约1875平方米。[2]
1932年，中共赤龙铁区委从回龙园田迁至本村。[2]
规划与荣誉[edit]
2024年，村庄列入镇里创建美丽宜居村的名单。[3]
2024年3月，村庄被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
