双华村位于龙母镇，属镇乡结合区。据博雅地名网，村名与一次地坪改造有关：原址是中心小学的球场，改造后在此建村，取名双华。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

双华村原属龙母乡。1958年后成为龙母公社的双华大队；1983年至1986年改为区公所的双华乡，1986年设村委会，1989年改称镇属管理区，1999年重设村民委员会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会评定双华村为「2022年广东省卫生村」。2026年1月，双华村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

镇政府2025年工作计划称，双华村与藕塘村是龙母镇的典型村，要求推进建设提质增效，并用丝苗米、食用菌、兰花等产业带动融合发展。[2]

文化旅游[edit]

村内有龙母战斗旧址（邓尾楼阁），是老隆解放后的一处革命旧址，位于邓尾楼阁一带。[1]
