龙母社区是龙母镇的一个社区，属镇中心区，1987年成立。[1]

名称[edit]

博雅地名网记有一段传说：清乾隆二年（1737年）此地住着一位龙娘娘，当年洪水泛滥，她令虾兵蟹将帮助百姓，使大家安居乐业。后人堵住了她居住的洞穴，人们为纪念她，称此地为“龙母”。[1]
