地名由来[edit]
据称，旧时猎人多以设坑的办法捕捉猎物，村名便取了“设”的谐音而来。[1]
沿革[edit]
1953年，社坑与鹤市、鹤联两村同属鹤市乡。1966年鹤市大队拆分为三个大队，社坑即是其中之一。1983年改设社坑乡政府，1986年成为村委会，1999年再设村委会。[1]
近况[edit]
2023年，社坑村推行积分制管理，并达到美丽宜居村标准。[2]
