地名由来[edit]
传说村后山上有一处灰色、形似鸟口的地形，早年称为“鸟石”。新中国成立后，村名改为“富石”。[1]
沿革[edit]
这里1953年曾设乡政府，1958年转为大队，1983年又成为乡政府所在；1986年起称村委会，1999年才有现行的村委会。[1]
荣誉与近况[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予富石村。[1]
2023年，富石村建立了村级事务公开清单，同年市级领导联镇包片，帮助解决了该村儿童上下学困难的问题。[2]
