莲南村是广东省河源市龙川县老隆镇辖下的行政村。公社时辖有莲西、水口两个自然村，取莲西的“莲”字，又因水口在南面，合称莲南。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，莲西属莲塘大乡，水口属水贝大乡；1963年归老隆公社，1970年归附城公社，成立莲南大队。[1]1983年改称乡，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年改管理区，到1999年再设村委会。[1]
2023年5月，广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予莲南村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
2023年起，龙川县人民政府先后发布老隆镇莲南片区土地征收的预公告与补偿安置方案，2024年11月还公布了该片区美丽乡村示范带项目的土地征收补偿安置办法。[2][3][4]
