塔凹村（博雅地名网写作塔坳村）得名的说法是：早年村子在猴子地，那里的路形有一个大凹。[1] 明隆庆三年（1569年）永安建县时，这里是琴江都贺岗社下辖六村之一，设有塔凹市，为永安县当时的五大圩市之一。[1] 2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

入清后归贺岗约。1961年设大队，1983年改为乡，之后依次是村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年）和重新设立的村委会（1999年）。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网的景点介绍称，孙氏开基祖孙友松之墓在塔凹村，重修时间为康熙五十五年（1716年）八月。[2]
