中坝镇在河源市紫金县东北部，东面是五华县长布镇，北面是东源县黄村镇，离县城23公里、河源市区65公里。[1] 镇政府称，共有13个行政村、1个社区，[2] 国道G355与省道S120在中坝圩镇相交。[1] 镇域被视为孙中山先生入粤始祖的开基地，境内有孙中山纪念馆和祖籍纪念馆，也有一批革命旧址。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名取自圩镇所在的中坝盆地：圩镇坐落在盆地中央，故称中坝。[3] 新中国成立后，中坝先划入紫金县第二区，1958年改设人民公社，1983年公社撤销、改为区，到1986年冬季又撤区建镇，沿用至今。[3]

镇内多个村的古地名可追溯到明隆庆三年（1569年）永安（紫金旧称）置县之时。北坑、塔坳（塔凹）、贺光（贺岗）、袁田在当时都归琴江都贺岗社，塔凹还设有圩市，是永安县当时的五大圩市之一；乐平围则属琴江都上镇社。[4][5][6][7][8]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于韩江支流北琴江的上游，在紫金县城东北方向。[3] 镇政府的简介给出的总面积为176.32平方千米，耕地约2.11万亩，山地约21万亩。[1] 早年的概况材料则记有瓷土、石英石、稀土等矿产，其中高岭土埋藏浅、储量大。[9]

国道G355与省道S120在中坝圩镇交会，最近的高速公路出入口是济广高速的水墩收费站，相距16公里；最近的高铁站是河源东站，约60公里。[1]

人口民族[edit]

镇政府简介称全镇总人口4.74万。[1] 据第七次全国人口普查，镇内人口为2.56万人，在紫金县各乡镇中居第5位。[3] 两个数字来源和统计口径不同，不宜直接比较。

经济[edit]

镇政府的简介说，镇内没有工业开发；2022年的生产总值是3.32亿元，农村居民人均年收入25695元。[1] 特色种植包括茶叶约2440亩、三华李5000亩、五指毛桃3000亩，以及南药、砂糖橘、茂谷柑、春甜桔、鹰嘴桃等。[1]

2002年3月，镇里在招商推介会上与企业签约，引进中坝华鹏高岭土厂，投资1200万元，产品主要销往日本等国家和台湾等地。[9] 2017年10月，13个贫困村的223户、1048人认购了广州一家茶叶公司的股份，金额688万余元，预计年分红约75万元；该公司董事长是外出的中坝乡贤，茶企名为斗记。[10] 2022年8月，县委书记到袁田村的五指毛桃种植基地和乐平村的艾叶产品企业调研，提出以「公司+基地+农户」模式发展南药和艾叶产业。[11]

文化[edit]

镇内学校有紫金县中山中学、紫金县庆龄中学，以及8所小学和2所民办幼儿园。[1] 1944年4月，孙科题写了「中山中学」校名；庆龄中学的前身是1990年9月办起的中坝二中，1993年5月改用现名。[12]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇政府称，中坝在历史上属海陆丰革命根据地的一部分，留有十余处红色遗迹，如谦德楼（曾做紫金县委、县政府办公地）、崇厚楼（温敬尧故居）、温敬尧纪念亭和交通情报站旧址。[1]

与孙中山祖籍有关的遗迹集中在发昌村一带。圩镇上的孙中山纪念馆造价760万元，建筑面积约908平方米，仿古的重檐庑殿顶，2010年10月动工，翌年5月29日落成开馆。[13] 孙屋排的祖籍纪念馆由孙氏宗祠改建，1942年成立，1986年恢复陈列，1995年11月，河源市将它定为爱国主义教育基地。[12] 骆八十娘墓是孙氏入粤始祖之妣的坟墓，花岗石砌成，面积约30平方米，碑上刻有乾隆三十三年重修的文字，紫金县政府于1987年将其公布为文保单位。[14] 孙友松墓、骆八十娘墓和祖籍纪念馆在1987年6月一并列为县第二批重点文物保护单位。[12]

镇内的孙氏祖籍之说来自当地与纪念馆的陈列材料；孙中山本人出生于香山县翠亨村。[13]

著名人物[edit]

温敬尧（1906—1955），良庄村人，出身贫苦农家，曾任紫金县人民政府副县长。[15]
