东溪村在紫金县南岭镇东部，村前有一条大溪，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的前身是东溪大队，1958年在苏区的南岭人民公社之下，1961年归南岭公社。其后东溪乡（1983年）、东溪管理区（1989年）先后出现，1999年管理区撤销，改由东溪村委会管理，沿用至今。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，东溪村在广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单中，产品是茶叶。2019年10月入选当年的广东省卫生村名录。[1]
