上璜坑村是紫金县水墩镇的一个行政村。村名的由来是一条较长的山坑，走向南北，而坑中水流向东西，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，璜坑大队隶属龙窝人民公社；1961年改归水墩公社；1963年并入陂湖大队；1983年自陂湖分出，设璜坑乡；1987年称上璜坑村委会，1989年称璜坑管理区，1999年撤管理区、设璜坑村委会，延续至今。[1]

2019年10月，该村入选2019年度广东省卫生村名录。[1]
