历史沿革[edit]
车前大队在1958年隶黄塘公社，这一建制保持到1982年；次年大队改称乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年再称管理区，1999年撤销管理区、改设行政村，设立车前村民委员会，此后名称未变。[1]
产业与荣誉[edit]
车前村2019年10月进入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；2024年4月，又列入省第一批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1] 车前村的华农农林油茶是「一村一品」项目，2023年村里沿路空地新种油茶165亩，镇里还安排车前带动澄田结对共建。[2][3] 2021年初的通报提到，有企业拟投资2亿元开发车前漂流项目。[4]
